Portland, OR / 8/23/20 / 1100 / Protesters and counter protesters fight using pepper spray, baseball bats and paintball guns on Saturday
SIGACTS/SITREP: A group of counter protesters demonstrated in downtown Portland on Saturday and were met with violence by antifa / blm members. Skirmishes went back and forth until antifa / blm members, through their numbers, overwhelmed and routed the counter protesters. Police did not intervene because they did not have enough personnel to safely deal with the hundreds of individuals involved.
RECOMMENDATION: It is our 1st amendment right to peaceably assemble and protest, however, the local government of Portland will not enforce those rights for all citizens. Therefore, it is recommended to avoid downtown Portland even to peaceably protest. The counter protesters were routed, then chased all the way back to their vehicles. Antifa / blm took pictures of vehicles and people and those individuals are now subject to retaliation going forward at a time and place of antifa / blm’s choosing.

BE VERY WARY of anyone attempting to "organize" people on this board with an effort to documenting lists of people BEFORE THERE IS ANY VETTING. It is obvious that if you already know people then they are pre-vetted. I would propose that right now the ANTIFA / BLM organization has already found this website and is attempting to get ID's on people before we are able to organize and create a proper OPSEC for our side.
This issue is already being examined but a solution will not be coming over night. You can organize among yourselves all you like but do so with EXTREME caution. Be patient and diligent rather than be sorry.
